In 2022, Mr. Olufemi Adesanya, a local distributor in Nigeria, approached FUTURISE with a clear goal — to develop customized prepaid meters under his own brand, fully compliant with Nigerian technical standards.
In Nigeria, electricity meters are relatively expensive, and all products must pass NEMSA certification before entering the market. This creates high barriers for distributors.
