Introduction


The QDM31-3 Three-Phase 7-Pole DIN-Rail Energy Meter designed to comply with standard DIN 43880, featuring bidirectional active/reactive metering, and multi-protocol support.Communication module and card holder can be added optionally. With optional prepaid control, versatile wireless connectivity (WiFi/LoRa/NB-IoT/4G), and TOU tariff management, it is the ultimate solution for smart buildings, industrial sub-metering, and remote energy management.

All-Wireless Transceiver Matrix: Houses dynamic plug-and-play communication bridges supporting WiFi, Bluetooth, LoRa, NB-IoT, and global 4G bands for remote AMR/AMI integrations.
Integrated Physical Load Isolation: Equipped with a rugged internal magnetic latching relay, permitting remote cloud-based contactor disconnections and over-current automated tripping.
Granular Grid Diagnostics: Delivers instantaneous microsecond telemetry records covering kW, Phase Voltages, Current Loading, Frequency, and Power Factors, complete with independent Read Without Main Power (RWP) query states.

Main Function


1. Measure the active energy and reactive energy consumption on each phase or three-phase power grid.
2. Measure the instantaneous values, such as voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, and frequency.
3. Can do time-of-use metering in 4 tariffs. Can set 8-12 daily intervals. Can freely set the date in every month to read the meter automatically. Can set a single tariff on weekends.
4. Can freely select the block interval demand (default) and sliding-window demand. The demand interval can be set within 1-99 minutes. Automatic resetting of the maximum demand or manual resetting for option.
5. Has a clock chip inside and a maintenance-free lithium battery inside. The battery capacity can be detected in real time and displayed.
6. Can record the electricity data for 12 months. Keeps the data permanently while the power is cut.
7. Display readable without main power (RWP) (optional).
8. Backlights to increase readability in low light conditions (optional).
9. LCD display with two options: cycle display (default) or key display item by item. Can set the cycle display interval. Can select the data item to display.
10. Real-time clock: clock with calendar, timing, leap year automatic conversion function.
11. LEDs indicate the power supply state, energy impulse signal, load current flow direction, and the data communication state separately.
12. Equipped with RS485 data communication port and (or) IR data communication port for meter setting or reading meter. The meter setting has password protection. The communication protocol complies with standards IEC65056-21, DL/T 645-2007 or MODBUS-RTU, and can also be customized by the user.
13. CT connection three-phase meter, it supports setting the ratio of the external current transformer, and the meter can display the energy value of the primary side for direct viewing.
14. Built-in magnetic holding relay supports load on-off function.
15. Supports multiple remote communication modes, such as Wifi, Bluetooth, LoRa, 2G, 3G,4G.
