QSM11-2 is an adaptable single-phase smart meter. It integrates ultra-precise power measurement, smart data administration and modular communication, realizing prepaid and postpaid functions all in one unit. Practical advanced functions like multi-tariff settlement, load profile archiving, event log storage and tamper alert monitoring help utilities gain comprehensive oversight of power consumption. Its extensible hardware design facilitates later communication and functional upgrades, delivering dependable long-term support for smart metering system construction.
The defining characteristic of the QSM11-2 is its dual local & remote management functions. It supports localized credit management and real-time remote meter data monitoring, with dual recharge options available: on-site local token recharge and remote top-up(Remote charging requires configuration of the remote uplink communication module). It retains an integrated internal relay for immediate load demand control and automatic disconnection upon credit expiration, effectively eliminating utility financial risks and billing arrears.
Beyond its physical interface, the QSM11-2 shares a common modular communication core that allows for remote firmware upgrades and dual prepaid/postpaid switching. However, its mechanical design and operational layout are optimized for standalone durability, featuring an external replaceable battery for seamless maintenance and enhanced tamper-alert mechanisms. It represents the ideal secure solution for power distribution companies aiming to implement strict tariff control and simplified consumer-side billing.
