Introduction

QBM16-1 is a robust, standard-sized single-phase STS-certified prepayment electricity meter built for maximum mechanical durability and high-performance revenue protection. Enclosed within a heavy-duty casing (270×154×105 mm) and weighing 1.2kg, this meter provides a substantial physical presence engineered to withstand heavy-handed usage and harsh environmental conditions in outdoor utility deployments.

Reinforced Tamper Defense: Engineered with an enhanced physical security perimeter, recording specific date stamps for base cover and terminal cover open detections, operating continuously even during complete grid power blackouts (RWP supported).
Heavy-Duty Revenue Isolation: Employs a rugged internal low-voltage relay that automatically executes immediate cutoff procedures the absolute moment balance credit reaches zero, guaranteeing zero utility overdraft exposure.
Industrial Load Management: Built-in heavy-duty overload detection and circuit control systems dynamically prevent commercial tenants from over-subscribing grid capacity, safeguarding local transformer infrastructure.
