Introduction


The QPM16-3 is a three-phase STS smart keypad meter developed for applications where energy usage is more complex. It enables utilities and property operators to manage high-consumption users through flexible payment options, multi-tariff billing, and advanced communication technologies. 

High-Current Multi-Voltage Versatility: Precision-engineered to perform under varying cross-border voltage ratings (3×57.7/100V to 3×240/415V) with different active energy measurement accuracy. It robustly scales to support maximum industrial current capacities up to 3×100A (3×40A,3×60A,3×80A,3×100A).
Interoperable DLMS/COSEM Grid Openness: Conforming strictly to global IEC standards (IEC 62052-11, IEC 62053-21, IEC 62055-41, IEC 62056-21), the QPM16-3 utilizes the DLMS/COSEM (Mode E) communication protocol through local Optical and RS485 interfaces, enabling hassle-free synchronization into existing Head-End Systems (HES) and Automated Meter Reading (AMR) platforms.
Proactive Deficits & Tamper Security: Enclosed in a flame-retardant IP54-rated heavy casing (269×170×90mm, Net Weight: 1.8kg), the meter is armed with independent dual-sensor tamper loops recording terminal and base cover open events with date stamps. It tracks bi-directional forward/reverse active and reactive energy in up to 8 configurable channels, sustaining continuous diagnostic visibility via an externally replaceable backup battery (Read Without Main Power supported).
